Commodore

Georgia Tech Sailing Club

As the Commodore (President) of the Sailing Club at Georgia Tech, I had the opportunity to lead a vibrant community of sailing enthusiasts.

In this role, I oversaw executive board meetings, collaborated with board members to achieve our collective goals, and nurtured the mission and values of the club. I spearheaded a handful of initiatives, including organizing open house events to recruit new members and planning exhilarating regattas (sailing races) in collaboration with other sailing clubs.

Through my leadership, we fostered a welcoming and inclusive environment, allowing Georgia Tech students and faculty to explore their passion for sailing, connect with others, and create memorable experiences on the water!

Playgroup Coordinator

China Care at Georgia Tech

As the Playgroup Coordinator for China Care, I had the chance to create a nurturing environment for local Chinese adoptee children to explore their cultural heritage and build meaningful connections with fellow adoptees.

I organized monthly events that incorporated Chinese culture lessons, creative activities, and a platform for children to embrace their heritage.

Additionally, I played a pivotal role in organizing a successful fundraising event, raising essential funds for the OneSky organization. This organization aims to provide quality care and support to children born into adverse circumstances or living in low-resourced environments.

Art!

Just for fun.

Art has always been a deep passion of mine, serving as a creative outlet and a means of self-expression. I find joy and fulfillment in exploring diverse artistic mediums, from traditional drawing and painting to the captivating world of digital art.

Using tools like Procreate for iPad, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects, I have honed my skills in creating scientifically accurate figures and captivating animations that bring scientific concepts to life.
